About Me

My name is Andrew Schneider. I graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management in May 2011 and went to work at a large corporation (#14 on Fortune 500 list) called UnitedHealth Group. As Mark Cuban says, I got paid to learn from some of the smartest people in healthcare and saw the industry fundamentally changing because of Obamacare and the digital health revolution. After 2.5 years, I left to join a healthcare startup called Zipnosis that is transforming care delivery through mobile technology. Imagine starting your healthcare journey by answering a few questions about your illness anywhere, anytime and on any device and either receiving treatment online from a licensed clinician or being triaged to the appropriate level of care based on your symptoms. That is what we are aiming accomplish at Zipnosis.

This blog is about the rapidly changing healthcare landscape as I experience it firsthand through Zipnosis. I will also discuss how technology, sales and marketing in the healthcare industry requires unique approaches.

This blog is my own thoughts and feelings and does not reflect the opinion of my past, current, or future employers.
